Keep in mind when learning many different coffee facts that there are numerous styles of coffee based of original coffees. The list we have provided is a general over view so that you may understand where the root of coffee is an what the base taste for certain types of coffee may reflect. This list should help you quickly learn about coffees.
#1 This is by far not every coffee listed on the entire planet but this is the basis for most coffees. Other types of coffees and blends can be mixed or cross produced to create unique blends of coffee but knowing the original coffee sources here will help you learn what types will be best for you and your taste buds.
#2 Everyone taste things differently so if I list something that might have a chocolaty flavor you may believe it to be more sweet than chocolaty and so on. You will learn about different coffee roast types
COLUMBIA COFFEE Sweet in flavor and delicious. Because of its mild acidity it is easy to drink and highly consumed in America. Does that mean we like our coffee weak? I guess some of us do. When you think sweet flavor of this coffee don't think overly sweet of a cappuchino but more of a milk and coffee 'with a hint of vanilla sweet'.
COSTA RICA COFFEE Known primarily as a classic roast. Has a moderate acidic level and is mild in taste. This coffee is good if you do not like a strong coffee but like great flavor.
ETHIOPIAN COFFEE Moderately bold or medium bodied flavor. Has a very strong coffee aroma which is inviting. This smells excellent when brewing early in the morning or before your guests arrive. Because it is not as mild as some coffee some people will not like it. To reduced strength as with all coffee just add a little extra water to the pot or add a little extra hot water to you individual cup of coffee.
GUATEMALA COFFEE Smokey almost spicy flavors with a medium body or moderate body. Try Guatemala Anigua Antigua for a delicious blend of coffee.
KENYA COFFEE Finely acidic with a fruitiness in flavor. This coffee features a beautiful aroma and is simply an amazing breakfast blend. If you are a breakfast coffee drinker this is your choice. Although its great at any given moment of the day I do prefer it early in the morning. The acid is gentle enough to not upset my stomach as some stornger stronger will in the wee morning hours.
KONA COFFEE Born in the mountains of Hawaii this sweet coffee can be a good wake up call. It has a good level of caffine caffeine still remaining quite mild. Some people love this kind of coffee but its not my favorite. I don't mind it mixed with a bit of milk.
JAMAICAN COFFEE This is a highly prized coffee and often expensive. This coffee just smells stunning when first opened. Someone brought me back a bag after returning from a cruise not to long ago and when I cracked open the bag the pleasant heavy coffee smell hit me. I had forgotten about the strength in a Jamaican coffee. I will point out that if you hate a deep bold coffee taste you probably won't like this style. Although again adding more water can weaken it enough to where maybe you really might enjoy it. I found this coffee very enjoyable after dinner with a dessert.
NEW GUINEA COFFEE Moderately acidic coffee with a very strong aroma. This is a full bodied coffee and has a very deep distinct taste. The more body general the stringer the flavor. If you love a rich full bodied coffee flavor this is for you. Rich full flavored coffees can delivery that strong coffee taste but if you love coffee and taste you'll like this style.
SULAWESI COFFEE Deeply rich full bodied coffee. Very bold in flavor and has an almost exotic feel to it. If you haven't experimented with trying this coffee I suggest its time. You may fall in love with it.
SUMATRA COFFEE Bold blend of coffee or full bodied but suprisingly low in acidity. Slightly spicy and a mild aroma. The fact about this coffee is that it will awaken your love for coffee with its full taste and beautiful aroma.
